The products from Not Your Mother’s (NYM) Naturals line are probably one of my favorites to use! So far, I have been using the Tahitian Gardenia Flower & Mango Butter and the Matcha Green Tea & Wild Apple Blossom lines. They all smell amazing, leave your hair feeling super clean and moisturized, and will not break the bank!
Tahitian Gardenia Flower & Wild Apple Blossom
If you’re looking for added curl definition and a moisture boost, then this line is for you! The shampoo does suds up, which I do enjoy, even though it is sulfate free. The conditioner has amazing slip and it’s really easy to finish up detangling. I follow up with the Butter Masque and leave it in for 25-30 minutes with my deep conditioning heat cap. After rinsing out, my hair is left feeling extremely moisturized and my curls look amazing! The only qualm I have is that it does not have a full sized Butter Masque as a part of the line, but I was able to purchase the packets through Ulta Beauty.
This line also has a Combing Cream and a Detangler. I have not had the chance to try their cream yet, but I absolutely love the detangler! As soon as it’s sprayed into my hair, the knots and tangles melt away making it so easy to comb through. I love using this product as a leave in or when I’m refreshing before I use any stylers.
Matcha Green Tea & Wild Apple Blossom
I LOVE this line! It’s amazing when your hair needs a nutrient boost. Although it doesn’t focus on moisture, this line does leave your hair feeling moisturized and soft after the wash. By the way, the smell is BEAUTIFUL! I really just love this line overall and use it as my go to for wash days. The shampoo suds up too and you can feel it cleaning your scalp and hair right away. A little goes a long way with this product, but I always forget and tend to go a little over board (oops!). The conditioner sinks right into your hair, making finger detangling super easy. I comb through the rest of the knots with the masque to ensure the product reaches all of my strands.
This line comes with a Butter Masque, which I love to use all the time, even when I’m not using this line on my wash day. It’s super thick. As soon as you scoop it out and start smoothing it through your hair, it melts into the strands. Talk about a butter mask! As soon as I wash out the mask, I immediately see the difference in my hair. My curls are defined, life is restored, and they feel significantly stronger. I really wish this line came with stylers or at least a leave-in or styling cream, because I love the way it smells and makes my hair feel.

I love how Not Your Mother’s makes it super easy to know what each product does for your hair, making your overall experience searching through their brands efficient and enjoyable. Here are some other products I’m looking forward to trying from their natural line:
