For so long, I have been on the go. Working from project to project, barely giving myself time to breath or even finish the projects I have started. Pulling through with my Clarity & Intentions Podcast and creating Naturally Taylor, are the first two projects I have fully executed. With my new position at work, I find it hard to keep up my energy throughout the week to continue working on my side projects. This has all led to overextending myself to the point of burnout.
There are times when all we need is a break. Whether it’s a day, a week, a month, or more, we need to be able to identify when we have to put things to the back burner. And that is OKAY! We all deserve to take breaks and give ourselves time to re-charge. Over the past few months, I have done just that.
Going into this year, I have decided to set intentions and make myself some promises:
- I will continue to focus on my mental health and well being while accomplishing more of the things I love to do.
- Instead of taking on new side projects, I will expand and focus my time on the ones I already have begun.
- I will take time during the week to exercise and get outside.
- I will continue to take breaks when needed, and not feel the pressure of guilt that may come with it.
- I will create a vision board for my ideas, goals, and intentions to visualize what I want in my future- both near and far.
I have a lot of ideas and content planned for this year so be sure to subscribe and stay tuned!
Naturally, Taylor 💙
